Introduction
Quick Navigation
There are different things to look out for before you make a purchase, and you must consider it, so you don’t end up making a purchase you will regret down the road. However, before we get into this is it is good that we explain something.
A bike is used for different things, and this depends on the purpose that the rider has; there are road and gravel bikes, and these two are the most known because of their popularity and how common they are. A road bike is used mostly for competitions, and it isn’t used on any terrain due to the way it is built and its features. However, the gravel bike has been made to serve both on-road and off-road due to the features that it has been made with.
However, there are different types of bikes, and these aren’t the only ones out there. We have the aerodynamic bike, which is designed for aerodynamic efficiency; it has a streamlined shape to cut through space smoothly with little resistance. The effect of this feature is that it allows cyclists to travel faster and smoother without much effort on their part.
One of the most important factors to put into place when you want to buy is the purpose of the purchase. Assuming you plan to use your bike for a competition and this will be held on road then you should go for the road bike and if it is for an adventure the gravel bike will do. If you don’t know what you plan to do with your bike, there is a probability that you will end up making a mistake because you won’t know what to look out for.
Secondly, you should look at the features that the bike comes with. The reason for this is to know if the bike’s price tag will be worth it or not so you don’t pay for an overpriced cycle. Thirdly, it will be nice to check the weight of the bike you want to buy because this will determine how well you will control your bike depending on the purpose you need it.
The comfort a bike gives you is important because sometimes you might ride a bike for long distances, and, naturally, you feel some stress after a while. It won’t be nice that the bike you cycle doesn’t help reduce and give you a level of comfort. So, the saddle of a bike must give you this.
Lastly, you want to check for the price so you know it fits into your budget or not so you don’t end up making a purchase that might leave you broke or in debt. Now that we have looked at this let us review Canyon Aeroad.
Canyon Aeroad CF SLX 9.0 Review
The weight of the Canyon isn’t so heavy because it is about 7.4 kg which makes it easier to control and navigate through whatever route you use. Also, although the cost of the bike is expensive, you won’t compare it with others that we have out there. It comes with a Di2 junction box that is integrated into the aero carbon cockpit. It also has a Shimano Ace motor integrated at the front and rear, about 160 mm; the cooling fin works perfectly.
It also features bottle cages that have been mounted at different points and which work in your favor. However, this bike has a few downsides despite its cool features, and one of them is the tires. The bad side of the tires is that it lacks a grip which isn’t a good thing. Although the brake system is powerful, this might come at a distance because of how quickly it reacts.
